mosque has a dedicated team of teachers and volunteers. The minimum registration age for a child is 5.

Upon starting their mosque studies the children are first taught from the “Yassral Quran” book to familiarise them with the Arabic alphabet and word formation. At the same time, they are taught the basic tenets of faith. This is done through weekly assemblies, class discussions, and stories. We have compiled our own study book to teach children the articles of faith and Islamic prayer.

The child progresses from class 1 to class 5. By class 5 the child should be proficient in Qur’an reading with tajweed, articles of faith, laws with regards to purity, prayer, and other necessary Islamic knowledge. Annual examinations are held followed by an award ceremony. Also, a yearly report is sent to parents.

We have a dedicated Hifdh teacher to teach those children who wish to memorise the Qur’an.

The classes take place every weekday from 5 PM–7 PM.

There is no fixed fee per child. However, parents have to take up membership in the mosque.

If you wish to register your interest for any NEW applicants, please complete the application form. Please complete one form per child you wish to enrol. Once you have submitted the form, our admin team will be in touch with start dates.
