Prayer times Noor ul Islam Mosque

Noor ul Islam Mosque was founded in 1978 by the Muslim community of Bury. The Mosque initially occupied just one floor on Yarwood Street. Today the Mosque consists of the entire building aswell as a sister centre, Maqam al Arba’in(Women’s Centre) and a community centre, Dar us Salam.

The mosque provides numerous services. Please contact us for further details.

Our Services

Mosque

The mosque provides a number of services including Qur’an classes for children and adults, daily prayers, weekly dhikr gatherings and has a library with an extensive range of books.

Maqam al-Arba'in

The centre is a dedicated space for women only; providing Qur’an classes for girls from the age of 6 to 16 and other classes for women.

Dar us Salam

The centre was established to provide a space for the community to hold religous and non-religous gatherings.

As the mosque is in a residential area. There is limited parking in the vicinity. However, there are local carparks within walking distance of the mosque.

Mosque volunteers will be on site to direct you to one of the following carparks:

*Mosque Carpark*

*Multi-Story Carpark the Rock*
*Free after 6pm*

*Asda Carpark*
*Free up to 2 hours*

*Kashmir Cash and Carry Carpark*

*PLEASE OBSERVE ALL LOCAL PARKING RESTRICTIONS. PARKING ENFORCEMENT IS MANAGED BY THE LOCAL AUTHORITY, AND THE MOSQUE CANNOT ACCEPT RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY FINES OR PENALTIES INCURRED.*
